Sam’s Town Casino/Hotel Demolition
EAI has begun our journey on the abatement and demolition of the former Sam’s Town Hotel & Casino in Robinsonville, MS. This 1,000,000 + Square foot campus is comprised of a 9-story hotel, 2-story casino, entertainment arena, retail & dining and 4-story post-tension parking garage w/associated campground. EAI has systematically begun the process of demolishing the various buildings on the campus. Having the opportunity to work with Yates Heavy Construction and Boyd Gaming has been both enjoyable and rewarding for our Team and partners in performing this work. As with any project EAI works, there is typically some unique feature to the demolition – and the Sam’s Town project is not different. The two-story casino was constructed on three deck barges – currently floating in the water. EAI also had the pleasure a few years back to demolish the five-story hotel on the same campus for Boyd. Stay tuned for More to come in the overall progression and demolition of the campus buildings as well as the crushing of inert materials and milling of the asphalt parking areas.
