EAI was selected by Warren Averett, LLC to perform comprehensive asbestos abatement and interior demolition services for two student residence halls—Leflore Hall and Delta Hall—on the campus of Mississippi Valley State University. The project involved the safe removal of asbestos-containing materials across both facilities, including approximately 36,000 square feet of spray-applied textured ceiling material, 150,000 square feet of CMU paint and block filler, and 27,000 square feet of vinyl floor tile and mastic. Leflore Hall, a six-story residence hall, and Delta Hall, a three-story residence hall, required careful planning and execution to ensure efficient, compliant, and safe remediation. Through meticulous project management and coordinated field operations, EAI completed the entire scope in just 60 days—finishing an impressive four weeks ahead of schedule while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
