Neuhoff Acquisition, LLC selected EAI for interior structural & finish demolition, exterior structural demolition, and hazardous materials mitigation services for the re-development of this highly visible project along the west bank of the Cumberland River in downtown Nashville (Historic Germantown) – the former Neuhoff Meat Processing and Packaging Facility (~500,000 SF). The facility and adjoining facilities, approximately 14 acres, are part of a $500mm redevelopment by Neuhoff Acquisition, LLC and their financial partner JP Morgan. The former Neuhoff facility will ultimately be converted into a mixed used facility with associated entertainment venue.The scope of work included but not limited to the removal and disposal of ~13,000 linear feet of asbestos containing pipe insulation, ~300,000 square feet of asbestos containing cork mastic, ~5,000 square feet of roof flashing, and ~2,000 square feet of transite panels. Also included was the removal (abrasive blasting) of ~35,000 square feet of painted columns / walls, and the disposal of ~3,000 gallons of hazardous waste.
