Knoxville Public Safety Project
The Knoxville Public Safety Project project in Knoxville, TN included a wide range of scope ranging from asbestos abatement to total demolition to large scale interor demolition. The project spanned across three buildings: an 8 story medical office building, 4 story hospital building, and a 3 story hospital building. These building were used as medical office buildings as well a former hospital. The goal for this project was to remove all finishes back to a shell state as all mechanical systems, penthouses, electrical, and plumbing. The project begin with abating the asbestos that was throughout the original hospital wing that was to be demolished.
- Project Size: 200,000+ sqaure feet of interior demolition.
- 22,000 sqaure feet of total demolition of the 5 story former East Wing hospital that had to be seperated from the original hospital that was to remain.
